Watercolor painting step by step - How to draw roses :3

Good day, everyone! Because some people say it is difficult to draw flowers, I will make a few tutorials about drawing flowers that I know. Today we will try drawing roses UwU 🌹

First sketch the basic shape of the flower, here using a diamond shape but with 4 softer corners. Then draw curves that tend to go into the center of the original shape to make the pistil. Then from that initial shape, begin to draw petals opening around (refer to figure).



Use the lining pen to stroke the flowers. Note to hold the pen firmly to avoid the line shaking:>

 

Draw the same with the other roses. Draw branches and leaves so the rose bush looks more lively =))))



Fill a base layer of color, then shade the petals according to the color of your choice, this step I suggest to fill red, blue, white, yellow or pink, but do not fill in miscellaneous colors:>
